Synopsis

Reactions
A realistic romance for teens where the characters are not perfect! 

I'm really happy to have fallen on this story, where two very different young people change radically their way of seeing life after meeting each others. 
Far from being a cliché, I really think sometimes people can grow up with some unexpected encounters that are thrown in their paths. And this is exactly what happens with Wren and Grayson. 

If I may make a little digression, I must confess that the name of the hero made ​​me imagine the character of CSI in his lab instead of a teen... Therefore, nothing very glamorous! But that was just in my mind... Sorry for this bad association ... Lol! 

Seriously, this is the story of a perfect girl that lack of rebellion bones who is tasteless and odorless. She wishes to affirm her personality but don't really know how. 
On the other side, a boy who is a bit too wild, closer to be thrown in juvi than being a prince charming, wants to get back in the right track to give meaning to his life. Two young people who will learn to mature. 

Personally, I like Grayson's character a lot. Especially, his peculiar notion of truth and lies... very personal interpretation...Lol! 

Fun and realistic, the story has not shaken me by its originality but I had a good time.

From Grayson: "She's...sweet. Smart. I feel good around her, like it's okay to be myself. And I think she's the kind of person who is, you know, naturally good. Not because it's right or anything, just because that's who she is, like a moral compass. I want her in my life, and if that's just as friends, well, okay. I'm down for that."

Elle sauve sa vie propre et au figuré. Ce qui suit est le compliqué, maladroit, hilarant et tendre récit de deux adolescents tentant de modifier leur passé et essayant de déterminer qui ils sont tout en tombant amoureux. 

Impressions
Une romance pour adolescents réaliste où les personnages ne sont pas parfaits! 

Je suis vraiment contente d'être tombée sur cette histoire où deux jeunes, très différents, changent radicalement de route après s'être rencontrés. Loin d'être un cliché, je pense vraiment que l'on grandit grâce à nos rencontres. C'est exactement ce qu'il se passe avec Wren et Grayson. 

Je dois avouer que le prénom du héros m'a fait imaginer le personnage de CSI... Pas très glamour pour un ado! Mais c'est juste mon esprit qui a fait une mauvaise association...Rires! 

Plus sérieusement, c'est l'histoire d'une jeune fille parfaite que le manque de rébellion rend sans saveur et sans odeur et qui souhaite affirmer sa personnalité. 
De l'autre côté, un garçon, ayant fait les 400 coups et étant plus proche du délinquant que du prince charmant, veut revenir dans le droit chemin pour donner du sens à sa vie. Deux jeunes qui vont apprendre à mûrir. 

J'ai aimé Grayson et sa une notion de la vérité très personnelle... Lol!

Amusant et réaliste, le récit ne m'a pas secoué par son originalité mais j'ai passé un moment agréable.

Reactions 
I devoured this story! 

I confess, it's not usually my cup of tea, but I decided to dive into this supernatural romance after reading favorable reviews on Goodreads. 
And frankly, I'm really glad I tried it! 

I discovered the world of Katie Reus, populated by vampires, werewolves but also hybrids, all in a fun, stressful and very rhythmic tale. I've grabbed this book and was not able to put it down before finishing it! A one day sexy and intense read... 

So, I have not had time to get bored as the quest to find the kidnapped daughter of Lyra is conducted by the pack. There were surprise attacks, fighting scenes, explosion, blood and all the dangerous events which make the action realistic. It is not a fairy tale and it's damned right good like that! 

I liked the love story and the difficulties encountered by the two different races to successfully impose their feelings. It is very contemporary. 
The romance is well dosed with hot scenes, sex and fighting scenes not to be too mushy or insipid. Because the world is on the brink of letting monsters take over...so threatening stituations are to be expected! 

I look forward to read more because Drake. He made ​​me smile with his strange behavior with Victoria. And what will happen with Gabriel..I'm full of curiosity!

Impressions 
J'ai dévoré cette histoire! 

J'avoue que ce n'est pas habituellement ma tasse de thé mais j'ai décidé de plonger dans cette romance surnaturelle après avoir lu des critiques favorables sur Goodreads. 
Et franchement, je suis super contente d'avoir tenté l'aventure! 

J'ai découvert l'univers de Katie Reus peuplé de vampires, werewolves mais aussi d'hybrides, le tout dans une ambiance amusante, stressante et très rythmée. 
Je n'ai pas eu le temps de m'ennuyer tant la quête pour retrouver la fille kidnappée de Lyra est bien menée. 
Il y a des attaques surprises, des combats, du sang et tout le côté dangereux qui rend l'action réaliste. 

On n'est pas dans un conte de fées et c'est plaisant! 

J'ai aimé l'histoire d'amour et les difficultés rencontrées par les deux différentes races pour réussir à imposer leurs sentiments. C'est très contemporain. 
La romance est bien dosée en scènes hot, sexuelles et en scènes de combat pour ne pas faire trop gentillet. Car le monde est sur le point de sombrer alors autant qu'il y ait un peu de danger et de sang! 

J'ai hâte de lire la suite car Drake m'a fait sourire avec son étrange comportement face à Victoria! Quant à Gabriel, je meurs d'envie de savoir ce qu'il va se passer avec lui...

Reactions
After closing "The Lost Prince," I had a lot of questions and I was excited to get answers in this volume. 
Well to be honest, I was a little disappointed at first. But, my opinion has changed after the spectacular ending even if I thought all the action was taking its time to get to the good part... 

At the start of the story, the reader is trying to see if Ethan and Kenzie can return to normal life. It was nice to see their interactions as a couple after the rumor of Kenzie's kidnapping by the bad boy, Ethan. Also fun to see the relationship between Ethan and Kenzie's father. Suddenly, it seemed a little too normal ... 

Then the reader goes in search of Keirran... This is the part I found a bit long. There is a lack of pace and twists despite the emergence of new fairy characters. 

Moreover, if in the previous volume, I found Ethan full of anger, there it is Keirran I found cold, selfish and less endearing than in "The Lost Prince".

Of course, everything changes with the return to the nevernever as the reader meet up with some characters like Puck, Grimalkin and the trouble begins. The story comes alive and is racing to finish with an amazingly stressful cliffhanger! 

Again, the author manages with its final spin to make me want to throw myself on the next volume. Sure she had lost my interest during a part of her tell but all critics evaporate with her ending! 

In a darker story, Julie Kagawa managed to show how love can grow to splurge crazyness and lose all sense of right and wrong. 
A story with a less constant pace but still really original and interesting.

Quelque chose qui va briser le monde des humains et celui des fées pour toujours, et donner naissance à une dangereuse race de fées connue sous le nom des Oubliés. 
Alors que les destins d'Ethan et de Keirran s'entremêlent, Keirran glisse de plus en plus dans les ténèbres. La prochaine décision d'Ethan pourrait décider du sort de tous. 

Impressions 
En terminant "The Lost Prince", j'avais beaucoup d'interrogations et j'étais emballée à l'idée d'avoir des réponses dans ce volume. Et bien, j'ai été un peu déçue. 
Bien entendu, mon opinion a changé après la fin spectaculaire proposée par l'auteur, même si j'ai trouvé que toute l'action prenait son temps pour arriver...

Certes au démarrage de l'histoire, on essaie de voir si Ethan et Kenzie peuvent retourner à la vie normale. 
C'était sympa de voir leurs interactions en tant que couple après que l& rumeur de l'enlèvement de Kenzie, par Ethan le bad boy, ait été propagée. Amusant aussi de voir les relations entre Ethan et le père de Kenzie. Du coup, ça avait l'air un peu trop normal... 

Puis, le lecteur part à la recherche de Keirran et c'est cette partie que j'ai trouvé un peu longue. Il y a un manque de rythme et de rebondissements malgré l'apparition de nouveaux personnages féeriques. 

De plus, si dans le précédent volume, j'avais trouvé Ethan plein de colère, là c'est Keirran que j'ai trouvé froid, égoïste et moins attachant que dans "The Lost Prince".

Évidemment, tout change avec le retour aux pays des fées puisque l'on retrouve les personnages comme Puck, Grimalkin et les ennuis commencent. L'histoire s'anime, s'emballe jusqu'à se terminer avec un cliffhanger hallucinant! 

Encore une fois, l'auteur parvient avec sa pirouette finale à me donner envie de me jeter sur la suite alors qu'elle avait perdu mon intérêt durant une partie de son récit. Du coup, les critiques s'évaporent. 

Dans un récit plus sombre, Julie Kagawa est parvenue à montrer à quel point l'amour peut pousser à faire des folies et à faire perdre toute notion de bien et de mal. 
Une histoire moins constante dans le rythme mais toujours aussi originale et intéressante.

Reactions 
A short romance that goes straight to the point. 

Short in words, as well as in the time periode during which the action is told, the romance focuses on the relationship between Ford and Ruby. 

The whole story is summarized in the synopsis. Longtime friends, the heros never crossed the line leading to lovers' role because of their obligations and how they have looked into the future. But one exchanged kiss haunted them both since college. 
When they met again, they can not ignore the desire and the feelings they have for one another. 

Well written, the story get to the essential point. This romance will delight fans of short story. For my part, I would have liked more twists. Maybe a Ruby less easy to fall in love with Ford... Maybe a little more realism in this beautiful fairy tale ... But I had a good time and that's the main thing! 

*WANDERLUST BY KITTY FRENCH

Impressions 
Une romance courte qui va droit à l'essentiel. 

Court dans les mots autant que dans le temps pendant lequel se passe l'action car cette romance se concentre uniquement sur la relation entre Ford et Ruby. 

Toute l'histoire est résumée dans le synopsis. Amis de longue date, ils n'ont jamais franchi la ligne les menant vers le rôle d'amants à cause de leurs obligations et leurs façons d'envisager l'avenir. Mais un seul baiser échangé les a hanté depuis la fac. 
Réunis à nouveau, ils ne peuvent ignorer le désir et les sentiments qui les habitent. 

Bien écrit, allant à l'essentiel. Le récit ravira les amateurs de courte nouvelle. Pour ma part, j'aurai aimé plus de rebondissements. Peut-être une Ruby moins facile à tomber sous le charme de Ford. J'aurai aimé un peu plus de réalisme dans ce joli conte de fées...Mais, j'ai passé un bon moment et c'est le principal!
