My Top 10 of 2012

After more than 235 books read in 2012, I've decided to rank my top 10. 

To explain my choice is simple: if the book has pursued me during and after my reading and it is the first to spring into my mind despite the large amount of books I've read is that it struck me.

Après plus de 235 livres lus en 2012, j'ai décidé de composer un Top 10. 

Pour expliquer mon choix, c'est simple: si le livre m'a poursuivit pendant et après ma lecture et s'il est le premier à jaillir dans mon esprit malgré la grande quantité de livres que j'ai lu, c'est qu'il m'a marqué.

I took some huge slaps in 2012! 

Two huge ones with "The Siren" by Tiffany Reisz and "Poughkeepsie" by Debra Anastasia that topped my ranking. 
Beyond being completely intrigued, grabbed by them and their author's words and history, the strength of feeling that these two books have awakened in me during my reading blown me away. 

And finally, here is my Top 10 of the books that touched me the most.

J'ai pris quelque claques énormes en 2012!

Deux notamment avec "The Siren" de Tiffany Reisz et "Poughkeepsie" de Debra Anastasia qui arrivent en tête de mon classement. 
Au delà d'avoir été complètement intriguée, attrapée par les mots et l'histoire, la force des sentiments que ces deux ouvrages ont réveillé en moi durant ma lecture m'ont épaté. 

Voici mon bilan des 10 livres qui m'ont le plus touchés cette année.

The ones I had to left aside... 

I have to be perfectly honest, if my favorites were easily found, the choice was not so simple. 

In fact, looking at all the sections of my blog, I started a spontaneous list of more than 22 novels. Way too much... 
Then, I had to make some difficult choices to make by leaving aside a few good stories like "Leaving Story Avenue" by Paul Larosa, "The Demon Lover" by Juliet Dark which enchanted me but the sequel "The Water Wich" disappointed me, so I passed it. Not to mention, the enthusiasm of the manga and the anime "Chihayafuru" by Yuki Suestsugu.

Ceux que j'ai dû laisser de côté... 

Attention, si mes favoris ont été aisément trouvés, le choix n'a pas été si simple. 
En effet, en regardant toutes les rubriques de mon blog, j'ai commencé par une liste spontanée de plus de 22 romans. Beaucoup trop chargée pour un bilan...

Puis, j'ai dû faire des choix en laissant de côté quelques bonnes histoires comme "Leaving Story Avenue" par Paul Larosa, "The Demon Lover" de Juliet Dark qui m'a enchanté mais dont "The Water Wich" m'a déçu donc je l'ai écarté. 
Sans oublier, l'enthousiasme du manga et de l'animé "Chihayafuru" de Yuki Suestsugu.

And then, there are the stories that I put a special mention since they have moved and transported me and I really had an incredible time with them ...

Et puis, il y a les histoires pour lesquels je mets une mention spéciale car elles m'ont émues et transportées et que j'ai vraiment passé un moment incroyable en leur compagnie...
