THE PRINCE BY TIFFANY REISZ
THE ORIGINAL SINNERS
VOL 3
Synopsis
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer...preferably in bed.
That's always been Kingsley Edge's strategy with his associate, the notorious New York dominatrix Nora Sutherlin. But with Nora away in Kentucky, now it's Kingsley's chance to take her place at the feet of the only man he's ever wanted -- Søren, Nora's on-again, off-again lover -- until a new threat from an old enemy forces him to confront his past.
Wes Railey is still the object of Nora's tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can't forget. He's young. He's wonderful. He's also thoroughbred royalty and she's in "his" world now.
But Nora is no simpering Southern belle, and her dream of fitting into Wesley's world is perpetually at odds with her dear Søren's relentlessly seductive pull.
Two worlds of wealth and passion call to her and whichever one Nora chooses, it will be the hardest decision she will ever have to make... unless someone makes it for her....
Reactions
I expected this book impatiently. I wanted to know how and where Wesley and Nora were going to be together ...
Was he still a virgin ? Will their reunion be romantic ? Rough ? Sweet ?
And I was really surprised by the outcome!
As usual Tiffany Reisz surprised and amazed me when she gave me a completely different story from what I expected. I was frustrated with details and stories revealed on Kingsley and Soren at some point I did not expect to.
What I wanted was to know more about the duo for which my heart beat after finishing "The Siren". So I was like a child throwing a tantrum while turning the pages...
Strangely, the more the author made me wait, biting my brake, the more I turned the pages eagerly to know what will be coming next ... Tiffany Reisz has raised my anticipation by delaying the inevitable and has led me by the nose with a moving and beautiful story: Kingsley's and Soren's debut. I really got stuck to the game!
After a few chapters, it was a complete reversal of situation... I wanted to know more about these two men. Sure, I always had a soft spot for Kingsley but now his fragility and unconditionnal love left me completely hooked.
Tiffany Reisz also allowed me to discover more about Soren. I had a glimpse of some facets of his personality that has made his character more human and endearing. I admit that since the start of the series, it was not my favorite ... Now, he grows on me.
I really love the way of writing of this author who never ceases to amaze by the erotic situations described, the associations and intrigues that punctuate the lives of her characters.
Words are raw, the scenes risquées, but always captivating. The story is stressful, frustrating, moving, heartbreaking. It is impossible not to react to the words and emotions spread on paper.
THE ORIGINAL SINNERS, probably the series I was most moved and marked in 2012.
"The Prince": A surprising and exciting volume... A delight!
Sentences
" Perhaps he was a sinner. That would explain why, still alive and only sixteen years old, he'd been sent to hell on earth."
"He seemed like a book, shut tight and locked in a glass box, and Kingsley would have done anything for the key."
"No one could break her. No one could handle her. No one could shut her up. God, he had missed this woman."
From Soren: "A library should be a palace."
From Soren: "It's safer to be feared than loved. At least where I'm concerned."
From Kingsley: "Only don't absolve me, s'il vous plaît. I would miss my sins and they would miss me."
"Pain stopped time in a way more powerful than even boredom could.
Ecstasy passed in seconds.
Agony lasted forever."

VOL 3
Quant à "The Prince": Un roman surprenant et excitant...Un régal!
