Reactions 
My interest was piqued by the synopsis and I was expecting a pretty funny story. Indeed, if the man of your dreams, the one you describe to your best friend to stop her play the matchmaker in your love life, suddenly appears in your life and play the game according to your lie... I told myself that there should be comical chain reaction. Well, not really... 

While some scenes were nice, I found the plot too predictable. It is horrible to guess in advance the intentions of the author. Suddenly, I found the story a bit flat. No breathtaking romantic scenes either. A very clean, proper and nice story in which I was bored myself. 

Nevertheless, this novel is a quick read. Some replicas are well turned and well found. Some characters are worth it espacially Henry who has a huge potential. Well, the story did not make me dream but maybe you'll have better luck...

Le petit ami imaginaire qu'elle décrit à son amie avec tant d'amour entre soudain dans sa vie et commence à prendre ses aises. 
 Piégée par son mensonge, la pauvre Kate est impuissante pour l'arrêter. Mais la vraie question est le veut-elle vraiment?

Impressions 
Mon intérêt avait été piqué par l'intrigue où je m'attendais à un récit assez drôle. En effet, si l'homme que vous décrivez à votre meilleure amie, pour qu'elle arrête de vous caser avec des cas sociaux, apparaît subitement dans votre vie et joue le jeu en suivant votre mensonge, ça pourrait être sympa. Je me suis également dit que les situations cocasses allaient s'enchaîner. Et bien pas vraiment... 

Si quelques scènes sont agréables, j'ai trouvé l'ensemble prévisible. C'est horrible de deviner à l'avance les intentions de l'auteur...
Du coup, j'ai trouvé le récit un peu plat. Pas non plus de scènes romantiques à vous couper le souffle. Un récit très propre et gentil dans lequel je me suis ennuyée. 

Malgré tout, cette nouvelle se lit rapidement. Certaines répliques sont bien tournées et bien trouvées. Certains personnages valent le coup, notamment Henry qui a un énorme potentiel. Voilà, cela ne m'a pas fait rêver mais peut-être que vous aurez plus de chance que moi.
