Intriguing and interesting. 

The book is presented as a true story, so it made ​​me wants to discover Sarah's adventures. It's one thing to read stories romanticized about BDSM, with charming princes even if they are a little perverted and licentious, and another to imagine living in the shoes of a real sub. 

Sarah describes her process, step by step, with her questioning, fears and apprehension. The same as you, readers, so that's good and reassuring. Suddenly, the story has a an educational side and you embark on a journey within her insight thoughts. 

For example, the heroine embarks on her BDSM adventure by seeking a master on the internet. Daring? Risky or completely insane? But when you ask yourself questions about a particular livestyle that you're intrigued about, Sarah explains that it is difficult and delicate to talk openly about your desires or push open the doors of a club by yourself. 
So the internet become the easiest way. 

Once Max, her dom, is being found a contract with very specific rules are imposed on Sarah. Some, for example, as abstaining from speaking uninvited. A huge effort to ask for a majority of the female population often unable to hold their tongue!

From an outside point of view, I struggled to understand the blinding faith with which Sarah is bent and opened herself to Max's initiation, while he kept voluntarily his share of shadows and mystery. Retention of informations and lack of honesty do not mix, in my opinion, with the contract between the Dom and his sub. This is why the end taste bitter. 

But again, this story is meant to be realistic or, at least, to show one way that submission can be experienced. Very interesting because Sarah's romanced testimony show the evidences that compels you to see the practice of BDSM differently. Not a fiction but a real lifestyle.

Impressions 
Intriguant et intéressant. 

Le fait que cela soit présenté comme une histoire vraie  m'a donnée envie de découvrir les aventures de Sarah. Car c'est une chose de lire des histoires romancées de SM avec des princes charmants, même s'ils sont un peu pervertis et dévergondés, et autre chose de s'imaginer vivre dans les souliers d'une soumise. 

Sarah décrit sa démarche, pas à pas, avec ses interrogations, ses craintes et ses appréhensions. Les mêmes que vous lecteurs, ça tombe bien. 
Du coup, le récit a un côté éducatif dans le cheminement des pensées. Par exemple, l'héroïne s'embarque dans son aventure SM en cherchant un maître sur internet. Osé ? Risqué ? Complètement barré ? Oui, mais lorsque vous vous posez des questions et que vous êtes intrigués, Sarah explique qu'il est difficile et délicat de parler ouvertement de vos envies à votre entourage ou de pousser les portes d'un club par vous même. 
Le net devient une solution de facilité.

Une fois Max trouvé, un contrat avec des règles bien précises est imposé à Sarah. Certaines, comme s'abstenir de parler sans y être invité. Un effort pour une majorité de la population féminine souvent incapable de tenir sa langue... 
Personnellement, mes poils ont commencé à s'hérisser à ce moment-là. 

Mais Sarah poursuit sa découverte et vous la fait partager en vous invitant dans ses émotions et ses plaisirs. Parfois aussi, dans les dépassements de ses limites toujours sous la bienveillance de Max, habitué de longue date de cet art de vivre. Tellement habitué qu'il est incapable d'entretenir une relation plus traditionnelle. Incapable d'apprécier les simples câlins. 

L'invitation à une soirée entre amis SM, avec des gamelles pour certains soumis et le fait que le partage d'un lit ne soit pas concevable, m'a littéralement repoussé dans mes retranchements. 
Alors que mon esprit criait, Sarah y voyait une forme d'affection. Preuve qu'elle trouvait ses marques dans certaines des découvertes du milieu SM dans lequel elle était initiée. 

Puis la dernière partie devient plus personnelle et certainement aussi plus romancée. Les sentiments s'invitent entre Max et elle. Comme chacun vient avec des bagages, la fin est douce amer. Certes, l'héroïne termine son récit en nous expliquant être heureuse mais pas forcément comme le lecteur s'y attendait ou l'aurait espéré. 

D'un point de vue extérieur, j'ai éprouvé des difficultés avec la confiance aveugle avec laquelle Sarah s'est pliée et s'est ouverte à son initiation, alors que Max gardait une part d'ombre et de mystère volontairement. La rétention d'informations et l'absence d'honnêteté ne faisant pas bon ménage, selon moi, avec le contrat liant le Dom et sa soumise. C'est pourquoi la fin m'a un peu déçue. 

Mais encore une fois, ce récit se veut être proche de la réalité, ou du moins une des manières dont peut-être vécue la soumission, cela diffère donc avec les happy end des romances SM. Très intéressant car le témoignage oblige à voir la pratique du SM différemment. Pas comme une fiction mais un réel art de vivre.
