Synopsis

Reactions 
The synopsis seemed promising to clear your mind after work and spend an evening sighing while reading a romantic romance with a touch of supernatural. 
Well, I'm sorry to admit that the magic did not operate on me. 

But I thought the plot was interesting. Imagine a divorce lawyer who pushes the doors of a marriage agency to find true love... 
All the ingredients were there to inspire comical situations and make me smile. 

Admittedly, I had some great moments with some girls evenings worthy of the Sex and the City's serie that made ​​me smile. Certainly also there are corrosive characters. I think especially of Kate's mother, a sexologist, hippie, who is used to smok joints...Hilarious! 
Or Robert, the disabled dog who knows how to make himself understand. A personal favorite of mine! 

But the two heroes have not convinced me. Kate is sexual and sensual but turns out to be a virgin of almost thirty years old. A little disturbing, don't you think ... 
As for Slade, he alternates between being wry and a jerk afraid of commitment. But mostly is the " I sleep with you, and I regret it the next morning" that bored me. Very childish for adults in search of true love... 

In short, there are some great, fun moments alongside some inconsistencies a bit unrealistic. But many reviews on Goodreads prove that this story has charmed many readers...
So you need to make your own opinion by reading this light romance ...

Impressions
Le synopsis me semblait prometteur pour se changer les idées et passer une soirée à soupirer en lisant une romance romantique avec un brin de surnaturel. 
Et bien la magie n'a pas opéré. 

Pourtant, j'y croyais car l'intrigue était intéressante. Un avocat spécialisé dans les divorces qui pousse les portes d'une agence matrimoniale pour trouver le grand amour...Tous les ingrédients étaient là pour inspirer des situations cocasses et faire sourire. 

Certes, j'ai eu quelques moments entre filles dignes des soirées Sex and the City qui m'ont fait sourire et certes, il y a des personnages décapants. Je pense surtout à la mère de Kate, sexologue hippie, qui fume des joints ou à Robert, le chien handicapé, qui sait se faire comprendre. 

Mais les deux héros ne m'ont pas convaincu. Entre Kate qui est super sexuelle et sensuelle mais s'avère être une vierge de bientôt trente ans. 
Un peu perturbant... 

Slade, lui, alterne entre le mec désabusé et le froussard ayant peur de s'engager, c'est un peu fatiguant. Et le côté, je couche avec toi et je regrette le lendemain matin, ça fait très gamin pour des adultes à la recherche du grand amour. 

Bref, il y a de très bons moments, amusants, qui côtoient des incohérences un peu irréalistes. 

Mais de nombreux avis sur Goodreads prouvent que cette histoire a su charmer de nombreux lecteurs. Alors faîtes vous votre propre avis en lisant cette romance assez légère...
