I left Eva strongly aggravated by her cold and selfish personality. A diva accustomed to the world revolving around her, who slammed the door to love proposed by Alexander. 

I ventured into this second volume just to confirm my bad first impression. Well, I did well to persevere because the author blew me away. 
 Her story showed that people, in love, could change. 

Certainly, before becoming pleasant, Eva goes through a phase of self-destruction rather drab. I even wondered if this part was not added because the BDSM is very trendy these days...Because honestly, the relationship between Alexander and herself do not need to be spicy up. Even if the author wants to show her guilt after missing her chance, it is a bit extreme. 
At the same time, it fits with the particulary excessive reactions of the young woman. 

Then again, her personality changes when she is landing in Los Angeles. Eva turns this time, into the perfect boring housewife. Obviously, she loses it. She goes crazy because nobody can change so drastically.

However, the young woman has dared to take risks. She dared to endanger herself, her carreer for love and her priorities become different. Suddenly, she became more human in my eyes and less hateful. I took a liking to her and her twisted ways of seeing relationships. 

But beyond Eva's mood swings, the story is enriched with new characters, new dramas and Alexander becomes darker. He is not the expected prince. He also hides many skeletons in his closet. But don't run away, he remains, despite its awkwardness, a charming man, full of good attentions. 

The third volume will be particularly interesting.

Impressions 
J'avais quitté Eva fortement agacé par sa personnalité froide et égoïste. Une diva habituée à ce que le monde tourne autour d'elle et qui avait claqué la porte à l'amour proposé par Alexander. Je m'aventurai donc dans ce second volume juste pour confirmer ma mauvaise impression. Et bien, j'ai bien fait de persévérer. 
L'auteur m'a bluffé. Elle a démontré que par amour les gens pouvaient changer. 

Certes, avant de devenir agréable, Eva passe par une phase d'auto-destruction SM assez glauque. Je me suis même demandée si cette partie n'avait pas été ajoutée car le SM est très tendance ces derniers temps... Honnêtement, la relation entre Alexander et elle ne nécessite pas d'être aussi pimentée. 
Même pour montrer qu'elle se sent coupable et qu'elle s'en veut d'avoir laissé passer sa chance, c'est un peu extrême. En même temps, cela colle avec les réactions particulièrement excessive de la jeune femme. 

Ensuite, nouveau changement de personnalité en atterrissant à Los Angeles. Eva se transforme, cette fois, en femme au foyer. Évidemment, elle pète les plombs car personne ne peut changer de manière aussi radicale. 
Pourtant, la jeune femme a osé prendre des risques. Elle a osé se mettre en danger par amour et ses priorités sont devenues différentes. Du coup, elle est devenue plus humaine à mes yeux et moins détestable. Je me suis prise d'affection pour elle et ses manières tordues de voir les relations amoureuses. 

Mais au delà des sautes d'humeur d'Eva, l'histoire s'enrichit de nouveaux personnages, de nouveaux drames et Alexander devient plus sombre. Il n'est pas le prince charmant attendu et cache aussi de nombreux squelettes. Il reste, malgré ses maladresses, un homme charmant, plein de bonnes attentions. 

Le troisième tome s'annonce particulièrement intéressant.
