Synopsis 
School is back in session. 

History grad James Sheridan thinks his biggest problem in life is trying to find a suitable outfit for his upcoming Ph.D. candidacy exam. That is, until he accidentally texts a changing-room selfie meant for his fashionable sister to his ex, the domineering Professor Carson. 

James and Carson haven’t seen each since James fled their power games two years ago. Back in his undergrad days, Carson was his Professor, and not just in the academic sense: a man of unusual tastes and extreme sexual demands, James had been happy to sate Carson’s savage appetites. Too happy, in fact. He never could trust himself not to let Carson push too far. 

Now James is older and wiser, and sharing some seriously flirtatious vibes with a cute menswear rep. When Carson replies to James’s errant text, ready to pick up where they left off, James can’t help being drawn back into Carson’s control. It’s only when Carson suggests involving the salesman that James has to ask himself how far is too far, and whether he’s willing to go there with Carson again.

Reactions 
My first gay romance was rather a nice discovery. A short novel that flirt with a rather dark BDSM relationship. 

As for the story, James must get a suit to impress on his Ph D exam day. A bit stressed, not having the habit of dressing other than a in casual manner, he text his sister to get her opinion on the costume he chooses. But his text arrives at his ex. A man quite overbearing with whom he had a passionate and memorable relationship few years ago. 

While battle not to fall into his previous faults and accept all, from the man who was once his master, James is also attracted by the charming rep who helps him pick his suit. A seduction game spiced up by the orders given by his ex. 

At the end of a hot scene in the fitting room, that cost him his new garde de robe, James left with many promises. Those proposed tenderly as well as those exciting and disturbing that need to be clarified. 

Very short, light and pleasant to read. The plot and eroticism are pretty well done. To have the clearer idea, I guess I will have to wait for the sequel...

L'école est de retour. 

L'étudiant diplomé en Histoire, James Sheridan, pense que son plus gros problème dans la vie est d'essayer de trouver une tenue appropriée pour l'oral de candidature pour son doctorat. Jusqu'à ce qu'il envoie accidentellement un sms, avec une photo de son costume destiné à sa sœur victime de la mode, à son ex le dominateur professeur Carson. 

James et Carson se sont pas revus depuis que James a fui leur jeu de puissance, il y a deux ans. A cette période, Carson était son professeur, et pas seulement dans le sens académique: un homme aux goûts inhabituels et aux demandes sexuelles extrêmes, James avait été heureux d'assouvir les appétits féroces de Carson. Trop heureux, en fait. Il ne pouvait jamais se faire confiance pour ne pas laisser Carson pousser le bouchon trop loin. 

Maintenant, James est plus âgé, plus sage et flirt sérieusement avec un vendeur super mignon. Quand Carson répond au texto malencontreux de James, prêt à reprendre là où ils en étaient restés, James ne peut pas s'empêcher d'être aspiré, une nouvelle fois, sous le contrôle de Carson. C'est seulement quand Carson suggère d'impliquer le vendeur que James doit se demander jusqu'où il est prêt à aller, et si il est prêt à y aller,  à nouveau, avec Carson. 

Impressions 
Ma première romance homosexuelle a plutôt été une belle découverte assez soft. Une nouvelle assez courte qui flirt avec une relation SM plutôt sombre mais coquine. 

En effet, James doit se procurer un costume pour valider son doctorat et devenir professeur. Un peu stressé et n'ayant pas l'habitude de s'habiller autrement que d'une manière décontractée, il texte sa soeur pour avoir son avis sur le costume qu'il a choisi. Mais son sms arrive chez son ex. Un homme assez dominateur avec lequel il a eu une relation passionnée et marquante. 

Alors qu'il bataille pour ne pas retomber dans ses travers et tout accepter de l'homme qui a un jour été son maître, James est également attiré par le charmant vendeur. Un jeu de séduction, pimenté par les ordres donnés par son ex, finit par lui coûter une nouvelle garde de robe et le laisse avec de nombreuses promesses. Celles proposées tendrement ainsi que celles excitantes et troublantes qui demandent à être clarifiées. 

Agréable et très court à lire. Je lirais la suite avec plaisir.
