Synopsis

In the world of art and fashion, two people who have nothing in commun, even their culture, will find themselves bound by a strange quirk of fate. 

Erin has a fairly, heavy, painful past since she lost her sister and father in a car accident, when she was a teenager. The day of the funeral, she also lost her first love. Since then, she has vowed never to fall for someone again. 
As an adult, Erin became a talented designer in Milan. Her first big contract consist in creating costumes for a ballet and a concert: Requiem for a Dream. 

In addition to the pressure of her first enormous professional task, she must deal with the talented, gorgeous maestro from Russia: Alek. An arrogant playboy, used to getting what he wants, while keeping people at arm's length. 

An unusual passion will bind them around music and dance. They will learn to trust and open up to each other on a background of mafia plot, blood feud, lies and threats of any kind. 


Well written, lively and touching, this contemporary romance has a touch of suspense and anxiety that adds excitement to the story. The ending is full of twists and turns that are predictable but still great to read. 

Kasonndra Leigh offers a compelling romance with interesting main and secondary characters. 

What also interested me was that the author creates a Pinterest page with music, images to support her text and bring the reader into her world and her inspiration.

Sachant comment ils se méfient de toute relation sérieuse, Alek trouve un moyen de poursuivre Erin, satisfaisant l'attraction intense qui existe entre eux, sans pour autant sacrifier la liberté qu'ils apprécient tant. 
Parfois, la passion la plus profonde fait ressortir les plus sombres émotions. Et Erin se retrouve absolument pas préparée pour le monde interdit du jeune maestro, avec ses vérités et même de ses secrets, alors qu'elle se démène pour faire face aux siens. 

Impressions 
Musique, mode, danse et romance: une belle recette 

Dans le milieu de l'art et de la mode, deux êtres que tout oppose, même leur culture, vont se retrouver liés par une bizarrerie du destin. 

Erin a un passé assez lourd, puisqu'elle a perdu sa soeur et son père dans un accident de voiture alors qu'elle est encore adolescente. Le jour de l'enterrement, elle perd aussi son premier amour. Depuis lors, elle a juré de ne plus tomber amoureuse pour ne plus être quittée. 

Adulte, le lecteur la retrouve à Milan, où Erin est devenu une talentueuse créatrice. Son premier gros contrat est de réaliser des costumes pour un ballet et un concert: Requiem for a Dream.

En plus de la pression de l'énorme tâche, elle doit composer avec le talentueux maestro venu de Russie: Alek. 
Arrogant, play-boy, habitué à obtenir ce qu'il veut tout en ne gardant les gens à bout de bras. 

Une passion hors du commun va les lier autour de la musique, de la danse. Ils vont apprendre à se faire confiance et à s'ouvrir l'un à l'autre sur un fond de mafia, de vendetta, de mensonges et de menaces en tout genre. 

Bien écrit, vivant et touchant, cette romance contemporaine a une pointe de suspense et d'angoisse qui vient pimenter le récit. 
La fin est pleine de rebondissements, qui pour certains sont prévisibles, mais cela ne gâche rien à la lecture. 

Kasonndra Leigh propose une romance convaincante avec des personnages principaux et secondaires intéressants.
