Reactions 
A dark atmosphere, secrets and a forbidden love. 

Everyone was waiting for Lila. Everyone watches Lila. Everyone expects something from Lila. After moving from the city, Lila is in the dark about a lot of things and walking on eggshells to discover the many secrets surrounding the clique and the city of Shade. 

Waiting is a very well developed theme. Not in a boring way that make us want to turn away from the story rather the opposite. The details are subtly disclosed to pique the reader's interest and make him want to know, if Cresida is really mad or on drugs, to discover the motivations behind Sam's suspicious friendship and why Sky is so cold towards Lila. Ok, I confess that the last part is the main reason, I've been eagerly turning the pages... 

Even when Lila will be approached by Reid and will discover she's dating a werewolf, the story is not going to lose its plot in favor of the romance. In fact, the girl's feelings are more ones of curiousity about the wolves, their modes of operation and their stories that one occupied by hormones. 

However, her obsession with Sky lead it on an eventful end. I confess that I would have liked more passion and emotions. I did not sigh while reading about the love triangle or about the forbidden one, so I was a little dissapointed. 

But I understand that this first volume was used by author to introduce the characters and the plot. 
Personally, the story won me over thanks to all the secrets. My curiosity will be the end of me! Lol I liked the universe proposed by Tina Smith and I really want to discover more about Lila and its new future in "Fever".

Lila déclenche, involontairement, une série d'événements qui changeront pour toujours le destin du chasseur et du chassé lorsqu'elle apprend qu'ils attendaient après elle ... 

Inspiré par la légende de la déesse femme fatale, Artémis, Wolf Sirens est un chef-d'œuvre gothique convaincant regroupé dans une romance paranormale. 

Forbidden, Fever, Night Fall et le volume qui sera bientôt publié Dusk in Shade - tous continuent l'histoire de Lila Crain, l'héroïne au fort tempérament, dans un voyage paranormal où un amour interdit menace de détruire l'enfer. 

Impressions
Une ambiance sombre, des secrets et un amour interdit. 

Tout le monde attend Lila. Tout le monde épie Lila. Tout le monde attend quelque chose de Lila. Seule Lila est dans le noir et marche sur des œufs pour découvrir les nombreux secrets qui entourent la clique et la ville de Shade. 

L'attente est un thème très bien développé par l'auteur. Pas d'une manière chiante qui donnerait envie de se détourner de l'histoire. Bien au contraire, les détails sont subtilement divulgués afin de piquer l'intérêt du lecteur et lui donner envie de savoir si Cresida est vraiment folle, les motivations derrière l'amitié suspecte de Sam et les raisons pour lesquelles Sky est si glacial envers Lila. 

Même quand Lila va se rapprocher de Reid et découvrir qu'elle sort avec un werewolf, le récit ne va pas perdre de son intrigue au profit de la romance. En effet, les sentiments de la jeune fille sont plus de la curiosité envers les loups, leurs modes de fonctionnement et leurs histoires qu'occupés par ses hormones. 

Son obsession pour Sky débouchera sur une fin pleine de rebondissements. 
J'avoue que j'aurai aimé plus de passion, d'émotions afin d'avoir un pincement au coeur car là, je n'ai pas eu le soupir ou le truc en plus. 

Ce premier volume a servi à l'auteur à planter le décor, présenter les personnages et à introduire l'intrigue. Personnellement, l'histoire m'a emporté même si elle a manqué un peu d'action et de combats à mon goût mais j'ai aimé l'univers proposé par Tina Smith qui m'a donné envie d'en découvrir davantage sur Lila et son nouvel avenir.
