Summary:

But in this adventure where treason and plot are connected, can she still rely on those around her?

Reactions:

Oppressive atmosphere in the last volume of the series "The Hunger Games." Underground shelter, in the bunkers, on the battlefield or in the heads of the characters, a confused choking and bleeding fog reigns. No more romantic moments, war is in all the corners. The characters are killed by explosions, gunshot or devoured by monsters. Insanity reigns also in the heads of Peeta who is transformed into a war machine. Conspiracies are fostering the paranoia of the reader and of Katniss

Finally, the cleaning is done and only few people remains.

Yet, there was a lump in my throat. It has occurred in myself in the last 15 pages making the final reading difficult.Strong emotions that still exist and follow you long after the final "The End" . This last volume is the darkest and most deadly but also the most disturbing one. No one is totally unhealthy and nasty, it's the choices and life circumstances that make some of us the monsters, the victims or the bravest ones. You just have to choose well...

Over the pages, Suzanne Collins has immersed the reader inside a futuristic world like in "Matrix Revolutions" when the citizens of Zion organized themself desperately to contain the machines attacks. Afterthat, she dive us into a war video game like "Call of Duty" where everything is all filmed camera at shoulder.
It seemed more realistic than imaginary with the actual riots and revolts in Arab countries who have occured in the recent months. It make you shiver !

Adrenaline drive the "Mockingjay" reader over the pages with its large numbers of twists. You can not let go of this book before the end. And once you reache it, you only want to resume your reading again. Suzanne Collins is an awesome writter who has beautifully thought this trilogy. Amazing reading!

Résumé:
Katniss, sauvée in-extrémis des derniers jeux, se retrouve être l'emblème de la rébellion et mène les troupes vers le Capitole pour libérer les districts. Son nouveau rôle dans cette guerre va lui faire perdre beaucoup de gens qu'elle aime. Durcit par les atrocités, blessée par les attaques, elle partira dans une dernière bataille suicidaire combattre son ennemi, le président Snow. Mais dans cette aventure, ou trahison et complot s'enchaînent, peut-elle encore se fier à son entourage ?

Impressions:

Atmosphère oppressante dans le dernier volume de la série « The Hunger Games ». Sous terre, à l'abri dans les bunkers, sur les champs de batailles ou dans la tête des personnages, il règne un brouillard confus, étouffant et sanglant. Fini les moments romantiques, la guerre est dans tout les coins. Les personnages se font tuer par explosions, par balles ou dévorer par des monstres. La folie règne aussi dans les têtes avec un Peeta transformé en machine de guerre et des complots favorisant la paranoïa du lecteur et de Katniss.

Au final, le ménage est fait et il ne reste plus grand monde.

Pourtant une boule dans ma gorge s'est formée dans les 15 dernières pages rendant la lecture finale difficile.

Des émotions fortes qui persistent et vous poursuivent après le « The end » final. Ce dernier volume est le plus sombre et le plus meurtrier mais également le plus troublant. Personne n'est totalement malsain et méchant, c'est les choix et les circonstances de la vie qui font de certains des monstres, des victimes ou des braves.

Tour à tour plonger dans un monde futuriste à la « Matrix Revolutions », lorsque les citoyens de Zion s'organisent désespérément pour contenir l'attaque des machines, ou plonger dans un jeu vidéo tel « Call of Duty », le tout toujours filmé caméra à l'épaule. Cela m'a semblé plus réaliste qu'imaginaire avec les émeutes et révoltes des pays arabes de ces derniers mois. A vous donner la chair de poule !

 

L'adrénaline du lecteur est aussi décuplée au fil des pages avec les grands nombres de rebondissements. Vous ne pouvez pas lâcher « Mockingjay » avant la fin. Et une fois cette dernière atteint, vous n'avez qu'une envie c'est de reprendre la lecture de cette trilogie magnifiquement pensée.
