Synopsis
After recently moving into his grandmother's house in the countryside, Makuzu is bored with everything despite his success as a novelist. That is, until one day, when a young girl with a stray cat appears at his doorstep. A girl with a very tragic look in her eyes...

Summary:
 Akio is a sad and lonely little girl. One day, she appears in the garden of a great novelist and asked him to raise her cat in his home. Makuzu, the asocial writer 20 years her senior, rejects the girl. But the sadness in her eyes troubles him badly.

Day after day, Akio will then come and disturb the quiet seclusion of this older man. Gradually she will fit in Makuzu's world and find her own place. Until the day she confesses her feelings ...

Reactions:
A strange feeling took hold of me when I was reading the first volume. A mixture of reluctance to continue reading the work of Chika for fear of falling a unhealthy story mixed with an curiosity to know what was going out in this relationship between Makuzu and Haruka.

To be honest, after three volumes, I still do not know what to think except that I want to know the further adventures of these two protagonists that everything separate.

But I was delighted to have persevered in the discovery of this manga ...I don't regret my choice even if the atmosphere is sometimes a little confusing. I enjoyed myself because of this.

Strangely, the age gap and the complexity of the feelings I felt during my reading, seeing the writer and the girl interact, offends me much less chapter after chapter.
Together, they tend to be more open, louder, less depressed. They help and heal each other just by being physically present in the same room without the need of many words to be exchanged. This is an amazing manga by its originality.

Much like meeting behind closed doors because most of the action takes place in the writer house, an so to speak action.

It's very subtle because the story is based on emotions and feelings of the characters and their interaction with each other. The author, Chika, also spends the majority of his talent to describe love, friendship and the variety of emotions arising through his realistic drawings.
The expressions of the personnages are particularly well reproduced especially in the intense moments.

Special mention for Satomi and Sugida who are openly showing their emotions without being able to hide anything. They are uncompromising, funny, endearing and tender.
This manga is for more mature reader.

Après avoir récemment déménagé dans la maison de sa grand-mère à la campagne, Makuzu s'ennuie de tout en dépit de son succès en tant que romancier.
C'est vrai, jusqu'à ce qu'un jour, une jeune fille avec un chat errant apparaissent à sa porte. Une fille avec un regard tragique dans les yeux ...


Résumé:
Akio est une petite fille triste et seule. Un jour, elle apparaît dans le jardin d'un grand romancier en lui demandant d'y élever son chat.

Makuzu, l'écrivain asociale de 20 ans son ainé, rejette la gamine mais la tristesse de son regard l'interpelle. Jour après jour, Akio va alors venir troubler le calme du reclus et progressivement se faire une place auprès de Makuzu jusqu'à lui avouer ses sentiments...

Impressions:
Un sentiment étrange s'est emparé de moi à la lecture du premier volume. Un mélange de réticence à continuer la lecture de l'œuvre de Chika par peur de tomber une histoire malsaine mélangée avec de la curiosité à savoir ce qui allait sortir de cette relation entre Makuzu et Haruka.

Pour être honnête, après 3 volumes, je ne sais toujours pas quoi penser à part que je veux connaître la suite des aventures de ces deux protagonistes que tout séparent.
Mais j'ai été ravie d'avoir persévéré dans la découverte de ce manga...

Étrangement, la différence d'âge et la complexité des sentiments que j'ai ressent au cours de ma lecture en voyant l'écrivain et la jeune fille interagir ne me choque plus.

Ensemble, ils tendent à être plus ouvert, plus fort. Ils s'aident juste en étant là l'un pour l'autre sans que beaucoup de mots ne soient échangés. C'est un manga surprenant par son originalité. Un peu comme un huis clos car l'essentiel de l'action se passe chez l'écrivain, si l'on peut parler d'action.

C'est très subtile car l'histoire est basée sur les émotions et les sentiments des personnages et leur interaction les uns avec les autres.

Chika passe aussi la majorité de son talent à décrire l'amour, l'amitié et la variété de sentiments qui en découlent grâce à ses dessins réalistes. Les expressions des personnages sont particulièrement bien reproduites notamment dans les moments intenses.

Mention spéciale pour Satomi et Sugida qui montrent ouvertement leurs émotions sans pouvoir les cacher. Des personnages entiers, drôles, attachants et tendres. Belle découverte originale et surprenante.
