THE SIREN BY TIFFANY REISZ

THE ORIGINAL SINNERS VOL 1

Synopsis
In the world of kink authors, she’s the top.

Notorious Nora Sutherlin is famous for her delicious works of erotica, each one more popular with readers than the last. But her latest manuscript is different—more serious, more personal—and she’s sure it’ll be her breakout book…if it ever sees the light of day.

Zachary Easton holds Nora’s fate in his well-manicured hands. The demanding British editor agrees to handle the book on one condition: he wants complete control. Nora must rewrite the entire novel to his exacting standards—in six weeks—or it’s no deal.

Nora’s grueling writing sessions with Zach are draining…and shockingly arousing. And a dangerous former lover has her wondering which is more torturous—staying away from him…or returning to his bed?

Nora thought she knew everything about being pushed to your limits. But in a world where passion is pain, nothing is ever that simple.

Summary:
Nora Sutherlin is a successful writer of erotica novels who wants to reach a new level with her latest work more daring and personnal than ever. To succeed in being taken seriously and become famous, she will need the help of a perfectionist and demanding editor who will ask her to resume her manuscript from scratch and rewrite it by spilling her guts and her heart...
Reactions:
Whoa! It rocks!
It's deliciously wicked!
But be careful, if you want a nice, sweetie romance, run away from this book: Now!
There, the characters are handcuffed, scourged, immobilized or dominated but always loved! I was speechless by this new book discovery...

At first, it's like when you're driving and there is an accident on the side of the road. Curiosity drives you to look and see what happened. Sometimes, even if it's to glimpse into shocking images you can not help yourself. So you crane your neck to get a better access to information. This is exactly the impression this story left me. I was not prepared for the daring scenario, the erotic images and the beautifuly choosen words by the author and I loved being so greatly surprised.

If at first, I started by asking myself where I had fallen into... I was a bit confused and somewhat frightened by the S & M part of the story. I reread the summary, blinking several times to be sure that some clues were not missing.
After my childish reaction and after I've said "Yuck, it's disgusting," I resumed my reading intrigued. Nothing salacious or bad taste in the well writen world created by Tiffany Reisz. Just a visit to a secret and taboo world which has its own rules and its own codes.

Later, I found myself gripping my novel and not being able to let it go until the end. Not for the sex scenes, but to better understand how you could feel love in suffering and be loved in pain. I'm delighted with the explanations given by the author that I have opened a new window into an environment that was totally unknown to me. I really enjoyed the adventures of the characters and the emotions they evoke and awake during the reading.

A beautiful love story between a woman and several men who have marked her by stopping by her life. With each of these men, she has a different relationship but equally troubling. Sometimes a little harsh, the story is poignant and gripping.
A gem!

I will not fail to follow the next writings of Tiffany Reisz who surprised and puzzled me by making me sigh and having my heart skip some beat.

Beautiful spicy novel to devour without moderation...

Sentences

From J.P: "We're in a recession, if you hadn't noticed. Books are a luxury. If it can't be eaten, no one is buying it right now."

From Nora: "We can only sacrifice so much of ourselves in a relationship before there's nothing left to love or be loved."

From Nora: "Some loves only come out after dark"

From Nora: "I've spent the last twelve hours in hell. Sorry, I forgot to bring you a souvenir."

From Nora: "If you're a masochist, pain feels like love to you. Not being hurt is what hurts."

From Soren: "Broken love is the most dangerous love. It will slice you open with every touch."

THE SIREN BY TIFFANY REISZ
THE ORIGINAL SINNERS VOL 1

    1. Hi Jennifer,
I haven't read it yet so I can't tell for sure if it's hotter or not but it's about the same subject.
