A nice and light romance.
Objectively, I have nothing against this pleasant romance. It's fun and easy to read.
The sex scenes between Sabrina and Connor put fire to the bedroom... And the foreplay, whenever they teased themselves are particularly well written with sexyness and intensity.

For example, Connor has a complicated and interesting past, but the author does not make us go inside his head. The text flies too briefly upon what made him the dominant and arrogant man he has become.
Ditto for Sabrina. We know she was heartbroken but it's only been touched on.
As a reader, either the author gives me details about the characters or not... But you can not leave the door open without really giving the opportunity to the reader to look at what was behind ... So, that makes me say that there was potential for a more poignant and intense romance...
A good time but I would have liked more risk taken by Heidi Rice.

Sabrina Millard a un plan et une liste pour tout, y compris son rôle de demoiselle d'honneur au mariage de sa meilleure amie. Le témoin est un problème totalement différent. Elle sait que Connor McCoy sent les embrouilles puisqu'elle a eu une rencontre désastreuse avec lui il y a quelques années.
Maintenant qu'il est super sexy et qu'il a bien réussi dans la vie, c'est encore pire. D'autant qu'il vient de prouver qui est en charge en brisant son contrôle légendaire ... sous la table au dîner de répétition!

Connor s'amuse à séduire la guindée Sabrina. Ce qui est très mal puisqu'elle est une fille bien alors que son passé est ... compliqué.
Seulement Sabrina va lui faire briser toutes ses propres règles.
Impressions
Sympa, léger.
Objectivement, je n'ai rien contre cette romance légère et agréable. C'est amusant et rapide à lire.
Les scènes de sexe, où Sabrina et Connor mettent feu au matelas et toutes les fois où ils s'émoustillent, sont des passages particulièrement bien écrits avec de l'intensité. Pourtant, j'ai trouvé un peu de facilité dans l'intrigue qui n'a rien de nouveau et qui ne va pas au bout de son potentiel.
Connor a un passé compliqué mais l'auteur ne nous fait pas rentrer dedans. On survole trop brièvement ce qui fait de lui l'homme dominant et arrogant.
Idem pour Sabrina. On sait qu'elle a été blessée et que son histoire de famille a une part d'ombres mais c'est trop vite balayé.
Soit, l'auteur donne les détails du passé de ces personnages, soit elle ne le fait pas... mais laisser la porte entrouverte sans vraiment avoir eu la possibilité de regarder ce qui se cachait derrière...C'est frustrant!
ça me fait dire qu'il y avait un potentiel pour une romance encore plus poignante et intense...
Un bon moment mais j'aurai aimé plus de prise de risques.
