Synopsis

Summary:
A meeting of vampires from all around the world will take place and the Drake family decide to protect Lucy by sending her away from their home during this period. The girl took the opportunity to learn how to fight by taking courses with Hunter. Meanwhile, Lucy tries to hide her friendship with vampires to her cousin, Christabel. But a clan, the Blar Hel, kidnaps Christabel, by mistake, upsetting her world and that of Connor Drake forever.

Reactions:
In this new episode of the adventures of the Drakes family, the reader met Christabel and Connor. In the meantime, you resume the fun and humourous adventures of Lucy and Nicholas. I still love to follow this explosive and amusing couple...They are hilarious! Lucy discovers the soul of a warrior in herself and wants to learn to defend herself to fight with her beloved one. Also she wants to find her own place between her humanity and her passion for vampires.

The charming and romantic moments are punctuated with real fights or squabbles between the various protagonists. The reader always spent a good time in the company of the Drakes although the path taken by Solange and her behavior irritated me greatly. Christabel seemed too fast and too well adapted to her new situation and I admit I was disappointed in the development of her history. Not so bonding than the one between Lucy and Nicholas...

I read this volume with a stroke and pleasure. I've followed with interest through the last lines full of suspense that will make the mouth water for the next volume...

Alors que les vampires de partout dans le monde se réunissent près de la ferme des Drake pour le rassemblement de Blood Moon, la sécurité se retrouve renforcée. Lucy a temporairement été bannie, pour sa propre sécurité et pour permettre à Solange de prendre un peu de temps pour s'adapter à sa nouvelle existence. Mais leurs ennemis ont réalisé combien Lucy compte pour la famille, et ont décidé de la kidnapper pour l'utiliser comme moyen de presssion contre la famille royale. Au lieu de cela, c'est la cousine de Lucy, Christabel, qui est enlevée par erreur, et Connor Drake fonce immédiatement tête baissée à sa poursuite. Mais il ne parvient pas à la sauver à temps et Christabel se retrouve infectée par les Blar Hel.

Il ne peut lui sauver sa vie humaine, mais il peut encore essayer de sauver sa nouvelle vie de vampire et pour ce faire, il est prêt à mettre la sienne en jeu pour venir en aide à la fille qu'il a appris à aimer. Mais peut-il sauver Christabel, le rassemblement Blood Moon, et la fragile nouvelle alliance de sa mère ?
Résumé:

Une réunion de vampires du monde entier va avoir lieu et les Drake décident de protéger Lucy en l'éloignant de chez eux durant cette période. La jeune fille en profite pour apprendre à se battre en prenant des cours avec Hunter. Dans le même temps, Lucy essaie de cacher son amitié avec des vampires à sa cousine, Christabel. Mais un clan de Blar Hel kidnappe Christabel, par erreur, bouleversant son monde et celui de Connor Drake à tout jamais.

Impressions:
Dans ce nouvel épisode des aventures de la famille Drake, on découvre Christabel et Connor mais on retrouve surtout Lucy et Nicholas. J'aime toujours autant suivre ce couple détonnant et amusant. Lucy se découvre une âme de guerrière et souhaite apprendre à se défendre pour combattre auprès de son cher et tendre mais aussi pour trouver sa propre place entre son humanité et sa passion pour les vampires.

Les moments charmants et romantiques sont ponctués de bagarres réelles ou de prises de bec entre les différents protagonistes. On passe toujours un bon moment en compagnie des Drake même si la voie empruntée par Solange et son comportement m'ont fortement irrité. Christabel, elle, m'a semblé trop vite et trop bien s'adapter à sa nouvelle situation et j'avoue avoir été déçue du développement de son histoire.
Pourtant, j'ai lu ce tome d'un trait, avec plaisir, donc cela veut dire que les ingrédients utilisés ont bien fonctionné...J'attends la suite avec curiosité grâce aux dernières lignes pleines de suspense qui vous mettent l'eau à la bouche...
