THE UNWRITTEN RULE BY ELIZABETH SCOTT

Synopsis
Sarah and Brianna have always been friends, and it’s always gone like this: Guys talk to Sarah in order to get closer to Brianna. So even though Sarah met Ryan first—and has a huge crush on him—she’s not surprised that he ends up with Brianna. Except…he might be interested in Sarah, too. The more the three of them hang out, the more the tension builds between Sarah and Ryan. The more temptation grows. The more their feelings become irresistible. And when they find themselves alone together, there’s no turning back…
Summary:
Brianna and Sarah are best friends since kindergarten. They can count on one another and have always been united. Finally in appearance. The day Ryan becomes Brianna's boyfriend, even if he was the boy Sarah dreamed since grade school, things get complicated. Especially since Ryan does not seem insensitive to Sarah ...

Reactions:
From the title of the novel, my curiosity was piqued. "Unwritten Rule", it is true that between best friend, there is an invisible and implicit code of honor: you will never crush on the boyfriend / husband of your girlfriend.
The plot reminded me of memories and makes me smile. For all the bestfriends think about a forbidden someone one time or another, sometimes just like a fantasy, but the thought is here! There are those who crack, those who resist on the name of friendship and those who do not care about friendship and prefer to have the guy.
But all these solutions lead inevitably to one of the friends to be sad and pained. Love and friendship are more easy to combine into adulthood when all parties are engaged ... Well, I hope so!

Elizabeth Scott was able to capture all the values that best friends can not help but cherish and testing. She was able to put a little of each of us in Sarah and Brianna, a devilish way to catch the reader into her net. Her book is well written with fair and poignant emotions.
Sometimes with clichés especially for the poor Brianna who has nothing to please except her physique. She is selfish, superficial, lack of confidence in herself and lives only for appearances. Certainly she is a loving friend as Sarah does make her no shade, after that she is a hyena. Although she has extenuating circumstances due to a lack of love from her parents, however, she uses the same weapons as her mother to devalue and hurt her friend.

If Sarah has played rugs and accept Brianna's spikes is that she attaches importance to this friendship. Moreover, she felt guilty for loving Ryan, even if she crosses the forbidden line, she is honest and brave. Conversely, I am not convinced that Brianna would have had so many scruples!
I liked that the author plays the "Tom Thumb" for the reader to complain with Brianna at the beginning by putting the blame on Sarah until the clues are revealed and that friendship is viewed in front for that it is.

Who never had a girlfriend so beautiful that the competition did not exist? However, this type of girls are often packed with complex, false attitudes and believe that the rules do not apply to them. The last scene between Sarah and Brianna summed up all of their friendship: a crutch for Brianna needed to shine and an help to stand to face life for Sarah.
Yet friendships that last over time are those where we accept differences without judging.

With on the backdrop a forbidden love between Sarah and Ryan, the author guides us to the depths of love with a capital "L". The importance of parental love to become a full and accomplished adult . The importance of true friends who accept you for who you are and not for what they want you to be. I liked the different readings and conclusions that may occur while turning the pages. Easy to read, it is suitable for the young and older. There is hope in this novel and that's great!

THE UNWRITTEN RULE
BY ELIZABETH SCOTT
